Connexions in the North West:

• Is an information, advice, guidance and support service for 13 to 19 year olds
  (up to 25 for young people with learning difficulties).
• Helps young people choose the education and/or training they need to get the jobs
  they want to do.
• Is a network of Personal Advisers. All young people aged 13 – 19 will have access to an adviser who will help them work out what information or support they need, and if necessary, help them to get extra support or advice from other specialist services.
• We encourage you to visit our centres, where you can:
  • Look at information on computer and in books and magazines
  • Find out about jobs and vacancies for young people aged 16- 19
  • Find out how to apply for jobs
  • See a Personal Adviser
